20 Jul Beth and Melroy’s beautiful beach wedding at Saadiyat Beach Club, Abu Dhabi
Beth and Melroy got married on 5 December 2015 at The Saadiyat Beach Club, Abu Dhabi in with an intimate guestlist of 80 close family and friends. With a stunning view over the ocean, this venue is just phenomenal – we couldn’t stop fawning over these wonderful images from Goldfish Photography & Video. I think I must have visited every dress shop in Dubai (if you ever need recommendations!). Luckily I had wonderful bridesmaids and we had fun throughout the hunt. I was all set to create my own dress but managed to find the perfect one in The Bridal Room in Jumeirah (Jumeirah Plaza). The owner, Anne Rashid was an incredible support and crafted the most exquisite veil with an incredible lace trim. She also made two adorable dresses for my flower girls (aged 2 and 4). I’d recommend every bride experiment with different dress styles and tries on a variety of cuts and styles in the initial stages to discover what suits her body type. The dress I had in mind when I first started looking through wedding magazines and blogs was very different to what I ended up wearing and being most comfortable in.
